Later that night, almost in the same exact spot was another meeting in front of the Mercer House. Dana had found a way to get back at Cyrus....
DANA- “They were right here. I saw them come out of the house.”

When they went into the old farmhouse, Steve lights a cigarette and listens to their conversation for a few minutes as he smokes it.
CYRUS- “I’m not going to the graduation, but I have to make an appearance at the first class, if I don’t he will come looking for me.”
MORGAN- “Fine, but soon as that class is over, I am out there, with or without you.”
STEVE- “Damn right, because you have somewhere to be tomorrow.”
MORGAN- “What do you mean I have somewhere to be?”
STEVE- “Mercer’s place. He want s to see you himself.”
CYRUS- “Just Morgan, not me?”
STEVE- “I told you kid he don’t want you involved. I don’t know why, but he wants you there Asher, at 2 pm, no later, got it?”

As Steve gets up and walks out he yells back at them...
STEVE- Suit yourself kid, but I wouldn’t fuck with Mercer, if he says he don’t want you involved, then your scrawny punk ass better not show up. Your all’s shit is in the duffel bag. I have places to be.”
MORGAN- “Maybe you should sit this one out, Cy.”
CYRUS- “Hell no...it’s my money that fronts this operation, I am going. Plus I think this Steve told Mercer that I’m a Boedell kid, and that is why Mercer don’t want me there. Well he is going to find out that I am going to be involved if he wants the cash.”
MORGAN- “He has more money than the Boedell’s Cyrus, I don’t think he cares.”
CYRUS- “Trust me Morgan, nobody has the money the Boedell’s have. Now light one of those up and give me a hit before I have to go home.”
MORGAN- “So when Steve shows, don’t say anything about Mercer, Okay. We don’t want him to know that we may cut him out. He would get pretty pissed if we did.”
CYRUS- “Sure. So where is he? He said twenty minutes. It’s been thirty. I am really going to have to get back soon!”
MORGAN- “Quit being a pussy, Cy. What is your problem? You never have issues being out late.”
CYRUS- “I kind of got my dad Ezil pretty upset with me tonight, and then there is that damn graduation tomorrow.”
MORGAN- “I thought we were skipping that. Please tell me you are not going to that lame graduation...”
About that time Steve showed up....
STEVE- “So you guys ready to talk. Mercer is not happy. And he don’t want to deal with this kid.”
CYRUS- “He don’t even know me, and I have no idea who he even is, so why did I even come into the equation?”
STEVE- “Listen kid I don’t make the rules, I just do what Mercer tells me to do. I got your shit, but this is it. No more unless you can cough up some more cash next time, or move to the next level.”
MORGAN- “Fine, let’s go inside and get this over with.”

CYRUS- “Hey Morgan...”

He overheard the conversation as he approached Asher, and an older guy he didn’t recognize...
MORGAN- “Listen, Steve I don’t care if he has ten million dollars, we are not going to get involved. Tell your man Mercer I’m not interested.”
STEVE- “I am telling you Asher, if you don’t do this, he is going to cut off your supply.”
