Yes, for me music is everything. It’s what cheers me up when I feel sad or angry. It’s something that has always been there for me. I just can’t imagine my world without music. It’s what makes me happy.

Having friends is something that motivates me to do what I do. My friends push me forward and being supported helps me do what I want to and can do. My friends are the best people I know, loving me for who I am and only expecting support and friendship back. Fictional characters, from Canada and Prussia from Hetalia to Remus and Sirius from Harry Potter, may be there to add a bit of sugar and spice to life, but friendships and support are what bakes the cake. Fandoms are also life, but as I said, are kind of only a sweetener. The realities that have sprouted the fandoms take me to a place unlike no other. They drag me in from reality and hard times. Fandoms support each other, even if they go through shipping or theory wars (Hetalia FrUK and USUK are an example- I ship FrUK but try to support USUK fans, too), but we're all fandom families. No matter what fights there are, we are all interested in the same thing and love it. Friends and fandoms are what helps me out in life. Friends and Fandoms Are Life.

I love poetry. This past year I have written more poetry than I have written my whole life. Throughout the past year my dad and step mom got divorced, he got another girlfriend, and drug addiction has plagued him and his girlfriend. His addiction determined how he treated me and his girlfriend and my step mom- who I am now living with. I have discovered that poetry was a way for me to explain how I felt to myself and to other people. It was a scream of anger, a cry of help, a whisper of good memories, and a release for the pain I was in. I also believe that poetry is just a song without music so I have also started trying to write music and the only way I can do that is with poetry. The music that is added to the poem basically creates audible emotion. That’s what I hope to do with the poems I have written so that people who are struggling with similar situations can find refuge in my poems and music. The thought of helping someone else with a story of what I have been through is what keeps me going.

Making art, pushing forward to tell a story that harbors deep in my heart but takes it’s time to take form. From the point where you are unable to describe your art to the point where you can’t stop talking about it. Then to a thought that if you keep talking keep typing about your art people will start thinking you as a self centered person. I just love making stuff. It has become more personal by passing years, an identity, a proof of existence. Now if I’m making stuff I’m making it for myself. Art has become my identity. Without it, I doubt my survival in a world like this. Art IS LIFE.
