5 Easy Steps to make Perfect Turmeric Rice
Step 1 - Sautée the onion and garlic in oil until soft and translucent on high heat.
Step 2 - Add the turmeric, cumin powder, black pepper 1 cinnamon stick, few peppercorns and cardamon. let them bubble in the oil with the onions and garlic for a few seconds (20-30 seconds)
Step 3 - Add the rice and stir it all together until well incorporated for a few minutes (2min) mixing frequently
Step 4 - Add the chicken or broth of your choice. I usually like meat broths. Mix well and bring to boil until the broth has decreased but with still broth left over in the pot. Rule: for each cup of rice you add 2 cups of water/broth
Step 5 - Cover your pot and lower the heat to the lowest level. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes. Please follow the instructions on your rice packaging

3 Easy Steps to make the Softest Roast Potatoes without an Oven?
Step 1 - Halve the potatoes and place the cut side down; halve each half again. Place potatoes in large saucepan; add enough water to cover. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover loosely and boil gently for 15 to 20 minutes or until are soft but with a little firmness when pierced with fork. Drain well. You can also boil the potatoes when you are boiling your meat as I have done in the pic below
Step 2 - Get a pan or skillet cast iron that can accommodate all your potatoes. Add a tbsp oil/butter enough to cover l the bottom of your pan and let it melt. Add all your potatoes and sprinkle on to them: - pinch of salt - Pinch of black pepper - Pinch of paprika - Pinch of cumin powder
Step 3 - Fry them on medium heat 2-4 min each side tossing them about until all the spices have covered the potatoes. Remove from the heat when each side is browned to your liking

New recipe! For all of you that love chocolate, oats and easy and amazing recipes, this is for you. So today I bring you a healthy version of a traditional dessert from my country. I was obsessed with it when I was younger and, as I grew, my love for it only became stronger. I don't know if you have something similar to this in your country but in mine we call this salame de chocolate. And here it's the recipe: Ingredients: * 1 cup of oats * 1/2 cup of cocoa powder * 1/2 cup of chocolate protein (you can also replace it for another 1/2 cup of cocoa powder) * 1 large or 2 small eggs * 1 tablespoon of brow sugar or any other sweetener (optional) Directions: 1⃣ Place all the ingredients in a bowl (put the dry ingredients first then put the egg(s) ) 2⃣Mix them all together until you came up with some sort of dough 3⃣Lay the dough in aluminum foil 4⃣Envolve the dough with the aluminium foil and twist the edges until you get something similar to a candy wrapping paper. 5⃣Place it in the freezer for 3h 6⃣Take it out and let it warm up a little (just for the salame Tô soft a little) 7⃣Eat! You can't believe how glad I was to make this! It tastes amazingly! I really didn't want to give up from something that I loved so I reinvented it! This is the perfect example that you don't have to give up on what you love to be healthy. There's always a way to turn your favourite foods into a healthier (and sometimes even more devine!) version of it. For those of you who think the words healthy, fit, happy and food doesn't belong in the same sentence, you came to the right place.
