Just had an amazing time with StemStars at the City's top Tech Legal Firms, in Buckhead Atlanta. I learned so much about Tech Company Selling and Corporate Buyouts. They taught us about everything and gave some free legal consulting opportunities. They showed how to take a valuation and change it to increase the sale by millions. I love it! Not many people in the room but they only allowed 30! I learned about all sorts of in depth legal concerns, for all business but especially #Tech . These folks negotiate the BIG deals. We spoke about Licensing and Patents, Trolls, deal negotiations... Not Being Emotional when speaking to people about your business. Contracts... business set up. Thanks Steve... $199.99 tickets. They served my favorite for lunch! This was the one thing every business I speak with in tech... have your business set up right . "You may have the best and first technology but if your valuations are off... if you have not established real relationships with your investors... I have not been in an office or meeting since 2004. We do everything on fax." The other guy said "What is a fax?" I asked about #VR innovation and got a wonderful answer about valuations of the industry! Wow, what fantastic information from the people that help major corporations close Billion dollar deals. I love it! I was the only Sista in the room!
