As a masculine presenting black woman it’s only ever been used as a derogatory term

For example when I’ve been referred to as a dyke nigga

It just doesn’t sit well in my spirit

So call me,

Masc? Absolutely

Stemme? Why not

Stud? Ok

Butch? Sure

held safe in my embrace.

She'd soften like shea butter as my fingers trace sigils over her body. Making my adoration known.

I'd peel back the layers they carry to stay safe in this world

until our truest selves can commune.

Whether this is an act of worship

or care

or consideration

it doesn't matter. The impact is the same.
