I wrote what was an absolutely massive post last night on my ipad and as it would go.. The darn thing
Deleted itself! So here I am re-writing another post... Gosh it's annoying, I've already had to plugg in a replacement keyboard
a mouse and restart my computer as NOTHING wants to work. Even had to change my logon password just 10 minutes ago..
So after all that kafuffle I come to you a little more frustrated than last night!
OKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Big Brother started last night, well the night before but the opening/launch kicked off.
I was only able to see the second half or last sort of 30 minutes... And what weird and strange viewing experience THAT WAS.
THE HOUSE:
The house looks so the same but so different, all of the shapes/angles in the graden and outdoor area are very much in tact.
But my god - what on earth have they done with this weirdo separation?
TBH it looks a little tacky - But no doubt it will play out fabulously.
Very envious of the gym and tanning situation, defs an upgrade on our season!
THE SEPARATION:
Getting the vibe it's come from the same idea as the Blue team V Red team challenge we had last year.
In that the separation of housemates and one group living the luxurious life and the other
scraping by with the bare minimums. EG: Blue team slept outside on camp beds with barely anything..
We won the kitchen challenge so got all of the glorious shopping plus more goods to enjoy
meanwhile Red ate canned food and hung out in a tent!
The Effect on Housemates:
This Twisty business is going to take a serious toll on some housemates in the poorer side of the house.
Especially early on. They have just come in from one of the most exhausting days/10 days of their lives, being separated completely from society
and their loved ones not to mention, music, TV , Mags etc etc.
THE Housemates:
It's really weird because I already have association with Ed - He dated a girlfriend of mine, he's prob the best looker
in the house. His brother plays AFL and he works in sports... Pretty cool guy who was supposed to be
on last year but didn't quite make the cut - so here he is!
I reckon he will be the one the gilrs will be after first of all.
Tully - I can already tell she has a good heart, yes she may have cried. Her first admittance was that she
wears her heart on her sleeve... But her comments about the other side of the house being
uncaring and not bothering to welcome the others really made me think she is sweet... As
long as it is genuine I think I will grow to like her....
Tahne - I can't spell her damn name. But she is the only housemate who I saw a little bit
of a bio of. And how could I not love her boyish motorbike riding ways then girly hotness!
That daring girl if not too bold too quickly will be sure a favourite in and out of the house
to those who are NOT insecure... I noticed that Heidi(i think?) was already having a
stab at her and being in a bikini - this could turn sour quickly if she continues to show
her cattyness in her odd way complimenting but in a backhanded way.
Tim - He has been studying Michael so damn much the similarities are way too uncanny..
He seems like a less smart version of him and someone who is also a master manipulator not
in a nice way. I saw him already trying to push people to do things that he wasn't
whole heatedly serious about. He then was bitching about Ben in a way that to the dumb
would be seen as ust chatting - But he is one to be watched.. Already super theatrical in
the diary room talking about everything with identical mannerisms to MICHAEL.
I don't know if I like him yet...
Overall it's an older house and I wonder if they will hold the attention of our younger viewers?
