This one time.
So this one time, I had to drive my grandpa home after Christmas Eve dinner, because he had too many margs. (You would think this was a one time thing) I digress, so we are getting into his brand new Jeep, and he turns the steering wheel heater on... yes, a steering wheel heater. We are driving along and all I hear out of him is:
"Do you like the steering wheel heater?"
"Let me know if that steering wheel gets to hot"
"how's that steering wheel heater treating you?"
"Isn't the steering wheel heater great?"Â
Me: ...
Now normally, I would have been just fine in my life if I had never experienced this amazing invention. Except that I did, and ever since then I hate driving my car. Like this morning for instance, I'm sitting there driving to work and had to throw on gloves, mostly because it's cold and mostly because I'm a big fat baby. Thanks Grandpa, I tried to be a nice grandaughter by driving you home, and I'm left wishing every morning I had a stupid steering wheel heater.
The purpose of this story is... well there isn't really a purpose to this story, except that these are the types of things I think about at 7am when it's still dark out on my drive to work. You're welcome.
