His scent was unmistakeable--kouga. 

The hanyou grit his teeth just thinking about the wolf bastard. A nerve twitched in his forehead as he approached their camp; surely he was here for one reason only--Kagome.

“What the hell do you want, wolf-boy?!” Inuyasha hissed out, “If ya can’t tell, you ain’t welcome to come around here anytime ya want, ya know.”

The she wolf’s eyes widened as she sat up one afternoon by a river border lining the eastern tribe lands picking up a familiar scent that overwhelmed her senses and made her start, sliding off a rock into the water and turning her head to the sky to catch a whiff of what the carried to her.

There was a memory in the breeze, without a doubt.

Forrest, game, the waterfall off somewhere further upstream, lesser demons she ignored and of course the last jarring realization that mixed among all that was Koga. And he was close. 

Signalling to her wolves to wait there Ayame ran, splashing her way out of the water and past trees in not exactly a hurry but an anxious way that she tried to ignore. She could very well have imagined it - she hadn’t seen him in what? A while? Months? She’d lost track of the time at some point. 

Nearing the spot she concealed herself behind a tree - a rather foolish act on her part as in all likelihood he could feel her aura as she could his yet it was a knee jerk reaction upon realizing that her suspicions had been confirmed. This was Koga.

Peering out at the ookami male’s form made her reconsider not turning tail then and there. What could possibly come of seeing him? Last they’d spoken he’d made his position in regards to her very clear so she was hardly even certain if she did come out and say hi that he’d even be all that happy to see her.

She was sincerely at a loss and for the first time after months of enduring more training feeling weak in the face of another demon. 

Regardless, he would probably expect her to show herself and she would not remain in this position to be mocked for being a coward. Because she was no coward.

Jumping out from her hiding spot and landing a few feet away from him her eyes locked on to his, unsure and opened her mouth to mutter a greeting. 

The wolf l lifted a lip in an angry scowl. Sure she was tougher then the average human. But that didn’t mean the prospect of seeing her injured was pleasing. His fingers curled into a fist before willing himself to speak. “Yeah well I left you in mutt boy’s care cause I thought he’d look after ya. And here ya are hurt! You sure yer alright Kagome?”

//=// I know not much about the Bleach Fandom, since  I’ve RPed only with one Grimmjow there. There was once stress with someone who said to someone other that she’s a racist (what she’s not, I just don’t want to go into detail, would take too long) WAs about white-washing and a white faceclaim for an OC which was a Saiyajin (and as far we all know are Saiyajins white, but also black, hell there exist all) So just a big idiot who couldn’t see clear, anyway she’s now away from the fandom, but otherwise I think it’s pretteh okay there.
