Eddie was the one to patch him, not Nancy. He used to patch up his own father when he was younger so Eddie also knew what to do. Steve and Eddie bonded over shitty fathers.

Eddie Munson remembers dying. The pain and then the nothingness of it all. So it was weird, now, waking up? If you can call it that in a strange room he'd never been in before. Plaid walls and no personality.  

He took a look around and on the bedside table he saw a few photos. Steve and Robin in blue sailor outfits posing and smiling. A photo of Dustin Henderson with his curls all tamed and a nice outfit on, cheesing at the camera. There were a couple of all the kids around the pool. One where Max was flipping the camera off.  

Eddie could almost hear her complain that he was being such a mom and she didn't want her picture taken.

He didn't touch anything and wasn't sure how he got here.
