The Ruhr area has the highest amount of Steampunks in Germany (of course also due to more people living here but especially because of the rich industrial history here.) The bestest of boyfriends is also my partner at our small steampunk company #Anachronika While we also offer a steampunk exhibition and talks, our main focus is on organising steampunk events. When we started we were already doing that for a while and we were at a point when we needed to choose: either stop it because it took so much of our time or to get something out of it to justify spending all that energy instead of working.
