  ‘ s’ easy  fer  you  to  say  Kakashi-Sensei.  it’s  like   you  know  what  the  most  inconvenient  thing  to  say  is  so  ya  say  it  anyways. ‘   fists  clump  dirt  damp  with  sweat  as  he  huffed  and  huffed.   frustration  settled   in  as  the  relentless  onslaught  of  demands  and  expectations  found  their  way  to  his  objectives.  if  he  were  to  be  Hokage,  wouldn’t  he  have  to  stomach  much  much  worse  than  this?  the  thought  meddled  in  his  mind  for  quite  a  while  as  he  stared  down  at  the  ground  below,  knees  now  caked  in  earth.     ‘  i  know  i  have  ta  keep  movin’  ,  but  sometimes  it’s  just  tough  y’know?  like  i  know  i’m  walkin’  and  i  know  i’m  headed  somewhere  but  the  destination  sorta  looks  like  it’s  gettin’   further  and  further  as  i  go  along.  it’s  fuckin’  annoying!’   a  growl  leaves  him  as  he  looks  ahead, seeing  not  the  path  but  the  outline  of  his  future.   it  was  all  so  mangled.  even   making  it  this  far  was  a  miracle,  when  he  looked  back  he  saw  nothing  but  that  scared  lonely  child  trying  to look  ahead,  and  before  him  would  be  a  hazy  representation  of  what  would  be  his  future  self,  taking  pity  on  his  accursed  self.        ‘ how  the  hell  am  i  supposed  t’  do  that  when  the  road  isn’t  even  complete? ‘

I’m  a  ninja, I  know  how  to  understand  stuff! ‘    though  quite  clearly  the  source  material  was  going  straight  over  his  head.  he’d  tug  on  his  headband,  allowing  his  mind  some  space  to  breathe.   ‘ Yer  just  gonna  keep  repeatin’  stuff  till  i  die, right? this  is  designed  to  kill me  ain’t it? ‘
