He was tired. Kakyoin knew that it was normal, but he couldnât help but to still be a bit frustrated with it because it was starting to feel like heâd never quite be able to feel fully back to normal. It was understandable-- he was fresh off his extended hospital stay and this was all of his third day returning to his normal life.
Emotionally and physically tired-- mostly the latter though. Heâd yet to get an actual, appropriate wheelchair tailored to him, and being stuck with the one heâd left the hospital in was exhausting trying to maneuver around in for hours during the school day. Heâd had to stop along the side of the road on his way home just to catch his breath because his arms were burning under the strain of doing this for the past couple of days.
   How frustrating...

ALSO IâM VERY EXCITED FOR POLNAREFF ADOPTING GIORNO. THATâS GONNA BE SUCH A CUTE ROLEPLAY~!)
ââ iâm ready to die anytime , any place , for any reason . â -To Kak
âItâs a good thing Iâm not asking you to die.â Maybe he is a little concerned but he knows Jotaro is pretty determined. âAll Iâm asking is for you to help me run for student council president.â He had become pretty confident since his trip and recovery, perhaps a newfound interest in leadership.Â
âItâs a big job, and I need my best friend by my side if Iâm going to do it. No dying needed.â
âHappy birthday, Kakyoin.â He hands over an envelope with a card inside! How sentimental! Iâm sure the message he wrote inside is nice, not to mention some money he slipped in. âHope you like it.â
Kakyoinâs smile was soft, carefully reading the sweet little message inside. The words may have been short, but itâs like thousands of words were said to Kakyoin, who never had a friend wish him a happy birthday before. Well, he never had a friend at all before Jotaro but still.
âThank you, Jojo. It looks like Iâll be using this money to buy some cherry pie for myself, unless you want to share it with me.â

Sitting alone at a cafĂ© outside was nerve wracking for the woman, but as she watched the townâs people stroll alone wrapped up in their own personal bubbles she felt more and more at ease with her new move. Everyone here seemed normal. That was good. She needed a break from her profession, her face still fresh and popular among the people hunting her back in the larger cities. Morioh seemed like the best place to start after all.
A riled up voice caught Kasumiâs attention, eyes leaving the buildings across the street to see a young couple arguing over something she didnât care to hear. Nevertheless she watched them, Cold Seep manifesting to stare as well. His white pupils shifted to his master, a low grumble resonating in his watery form,âTheyâre annoying. So loud.â
âAh, then fix that.â Kasumi mused before taking another sip of her tea. Without another sound her Standâs form melted into a shadowy puddle on the pavement, slithering over to the couple and staying still as a puddle between the two. All it took to end the argument was one misstep from the loudest of the two, the male slipping on the puddle and falling back into the occupied table behind him. Kasumi smirked at the aftermath, watching the woman storm off as Cold Seep returned to her side. His throaty laughter died quickly as his eyes stared off into the distance, as if something or someone had caught his attention suddenly. Maybe everyone is this town wasnât as normal as she thought they were.
@stcrdvstâ asked:Â â i trust you. â (To Kakyoin!)
things you want to hear|| no longer accepting
The words mean a LOT, more than Jotaro will ever know. From a young age, Kakyoin didnât feel trusted by many people. Isolation had been his one real constant as a child, social interactions had been so limited that even now he was still growing used to the concept of trusting and being trusted.Â
He feels a warmth in his chest, unable to stop the smile that creeps to his face. âIâm glad youâre able to. I trust you too.â The admittance holds a huge importance, Jotaro being one of Kakyoinâs first REAL friends. Fighting alongside him had proven time and time again that, while his personality WAS a bit brash at times, Jotaro was reliable, he was TRUSTWORTHY.
    âI wonât let you down.â
[ @stcrdvstâ | continued. ]
âWhat are you even talking about?â Jotaro questions as his brows furrowed. He wasnât particularly religious himself, so he never really thought about topics like that, even if this one sounded like a joke. He decides he shouldnât give a serious answer.
âI dunno. Probably. He should be since Iâm still standing.â
âThere might be some merit to your words,â he just hoped that they were both on the same page â and that the page belonged to a jokebook. It was hard for Kakyoin to convey humour in his tone; but considering how he and Jotaro have been communicating, he felt more at ease to clown around, ânothing is scarier than a guy whoâs Stand can stop bullets and draw hyper-realistic sketches of uncommon insects, after all.â
