Good Morning my beautiful remnant! I know this is getting draining, exhausting, boring, and mundane. I was following someone that made me laugh. They said millennials have lived thru so much. Citing Y2K, 911, Katrina, and the other major disasters of the new millennia. I had to chuckle cause the things they listed were nothing compared to what our parents and grandparents experienced in their lifetime. Like...it pales in comparison. But these modern generations are so spoiled and "me-centered" that they think anything that's ever happened to them is the worst thing that can ever happen. Look at our celebrities. People like Lizzo think not being allowed to twerk because she's chubby is a crime against humanity while people are literally dying alone gasping for air then their bodies discarded without their families given a chance to say goodbye. I've watched many men and women step up doing more virus-preventive cleaning, cooking while still working from home and tutoring kids while I've seen other men and women not cook a thing, not wash regularly, go live on social media all day or sit on the phone having superficial conversations not looking out for anyone but themselves wondering why they're single. You've watched people go from shaming you for not having a "side hustle" to begging you to play their online bingo game for gas money. The first week or two were easy. But the weeks to come will expose your character. It'll expose your usefulness to the tribe. It'll expose your appreciation for life, people, and your environment. It should be forcing us to grow up.
