Earlier this week we started and completed a little job back at the St Austell Market House. I had my main man Paul with me to help, and we got the job done fast! First job was to clear the retail unit of any rubbish from the previous tenants, then we began removing the old carpet tiles which revealed the old stone floor underneath and some old wooden floor. Next up was to set up the Heras fencing supplied and delivered by Travis Perkins, who have been brilliant 👍🏻, And then onto clearing the roof from rubbish and all the old felt and lino.. yes lino! Lol We then covered and stapled a breathable membrane to the roof before laying and nailing down some osb sheeting to complete the roof and completing the unit ready for the new tenant. Whilst we were in the market house i took the opportunity to pop in to see how the new tenant has settled in to the last unit i worked on. Clair @fusedglassbyclaireharris has done an amazing job making the space her own! The shop looks bright and fresh! If you are in St Austell, pop in and have a look at what Claire makes, she also runs a workshop where you can get hands on! 👍🏻 #retailunit #retailunits #markethouse #staustellmarkethouse #themarkethouse #themarkethousestaustell #osbsheet #osbsheeting #breathablemembrane #fusedglass #fusedglassbyclaireharris https://www.instagram.com/p/B4YMHJOgqd3/?igshid=1ddhhs5zwvfg4
