Listen, we’re not sure if it’s from the start of a new year or even a new decade but over the course of the last 30 days, The Noise been fortunate enough to premiere some brilliant works of art. From an outstanding claymation visual to talking dogs, 2020 has brought us nothing but marvelous masterpieces.Â
Thankfully, today is no exception to that as we are excited to debut a jaw-dropping, handmade music video that is sure to leave you speechless.
From Alaskan rock outfit Static Cycle -- yes, we said Alaska -- we are delighted to welcome you to the paper circus world of frontman Jared Navarre via the band’s remarkable music video for “Ringer.”
Talking about the stunning follow-up clip to 2019′s “Boxes,” Navarre said, “This video was built entirely out of paper, by hand. The video is episode two of six. This video series tells the gripping story that will come to life in our live show. You are introduced to the characters, storylines and world that you’ll see unfold throughout the year in successive videos.”
Navarre went on to say, “Our show coming this fall is bridging the gap between live theater, broadway and hard rock. This is an immersive game-changing show unlike anything the world has ever seen. The future of rock is coming.”
As for the inspiration behind the pop-rock-leaning, X Ambassadors-like track “Ringer,” Navarre simply states, “The rebound isn't always regrettable. Sometimes it's a necessary path towards healing.”
