Staten Island Railway’s new Arthur Kill station is at the southern end of Staten Island, where land and water meet. Here Jenna Lucente created “Tottenville Sun, Tottenville Sky” (2016) in laminated glass windows, where she merges historic local architecture with natural wildlife of the area. The yellow represents the sun and the bright light of the morning commute, while the blue brings in the sky and the evening ride home. We wish you plenty of both this weekend!
