‘Lubna’ The base is a soft handwoven Khaddi linen woven in Bengal with the most stunning jamdani bird motif in a subtle shade of peachish pink woven in the pallu and the border . The body of the saree is filled with small tiny embroidered flower bootis and mirrors . This is where the challenges was , the Khaddi linen weave was so soft and fine embroidering over it was turning out to be a bit of nightmare. But we persevered and after 3 trials we nailed it. ‘Lubna’ glitters because of the mirrors all over her , the bubble gum pink flowers makes her extremely romantic and the woven bird motif adds to her allure.
