I've got so many questions tho - to me, this ,, creature?? entity??? feels like along the lines of a god-like figure?? and it's choosing to interact with mortals, particularly those headlining one side of a particular oncoming,,, storm of sorts (jon mentioned a war?) in order to aid them? in some way? But by the sounds of it it cant overstep and intervene too much at risk of upsetting some sort of balance - i don't know, there's a Lot to be picked apart in that end conversation, and I'm Very excited to see what's coming next.

Idk listen man i trust martin with my life, anything he's doing is obviously correct so theres nothing to worry about there -- theres the obvious case of sasha, and ik elias is sus af, but tim? what could He be lying about?

Or perhaps the "they" is the institute itself? as in elias and etc, the higherups? but idk, it showed up right after not sasha left, so i dont trust that it Wasnt talking abt the four.

absolutely terrible dialogue and Malicious Dirty Talk, wherein someone is called “a real live 🐓 sucker” because they’re not being drugged up with the slave drug and instead are “off med”

while all this is going on the trillionaires are just... talking? getting on as normal at the party? nobody seems to be reacting to the action which makes me wonder why even bother? literally they’re just all sitting around like they’re in a doctor’s office

there’s a black guy called Onyx, which seems very :/ hm. said character is also a slave, which is double :/ hm as the real life actual slavery that went on in the states is never ever mentioned in this book once

the word “length” is used, and the slave character angsts because he can’t deep throat yet :( what the hell

I’m trying to keep this as sfw as possible here so uhhh basically the slave character is wife-swapped with the rich character’s friend but slave character doesn’t want friend to uh... make his face messy. so he pulls back at the last moment and the. um. mayonnaise. gets on the floor and the whole party surrounding them stops and stares in horror and embarrassment because apparently not letting somebody put naughty mayonnaise on your face is a HUGE social faux pas.

one of the characters talks to the slave character like a child, including telling him to “go play” while the “adults” talk, which considering the nature of what’s going on is very very gross

slave character gets drugged after being offered a sip of a drink and gets frisky with another slave, but it’s so fucking weird and it’s clear the drugging only happened because otherwise I guess the slave character would have to angst about the morals of him being “off-med” and his partner being drugged? 

this getting frisky happens in a giant orgy pit in the middle of the party, by the way.

god anyway christ uhhh at 3am guests are sneaking off into rooms with one another and I gotta wonder HOW much passionate hugging people can do in one single god damn night

rich character has to tap his phone screen to dial numbers and make calls but randomly says “End call.” into the phone at the end of the conversation? meaning like, for whatever reason his touchscreen doesn’t do that OR he just said “End call.” into the phone and the guy on the other end was like what the fuck

slave character throws up when they get home and apparently “Hundreds of dollars’ worth of liquor mingle in the water.” but like. he had literally two sips

he then throws up for an hour which makes me think the author has neither fucked nor ever drunk an alcohol in his life because I have NEVER seen anyone throw up constantly for an entire HOUR because they were too drunk and let me tell you, I’ve seen some very drunk people in my time

author says slave character had a bath and then a few paragraphs later his hair is damp “from the shower”, which gives you an idea of the kind of editing this book has been through (none)

khaki booty shorts are considered hot

fast paced scenes at the end with loads of paragraph breaks to denote several days passing and rich character clearly falling in love with slave character

still no mention of the butt plug

repeat: zero mention of the butt plug
