Mesmerized by Starwhisps! 

Sitting in the cave, watching these magical beings perform their graceful aerial dance and listening to their gentle whispers is simply enchanting.

I could stay here for hours, but I must be on my way. I've already spent too much time at the waterfall.

Magical encounter! 

Aren't they absolutely enchanting?

After a refreshing swim in the forest river and diving with the fishes, I made a quick detour to the cave where the Starwhisps dwell during the day, before helping Celebryn the deer with the party cleanup.

Seeing them for the first time, after only hearing stories, their beauty exceeds all my expectations! These tiny beings, woven from pure starlight, with delicate wings glistening with cosmic dust, are truly mesmerizing.

I'm not saying Thacker is disabled. I'm saying Thacker is a human being that can't control what's happening to him or what he's doing, and he's been put into a cage. Thacker is a human who, the first time any of the main three tried to reach him, were able to. So clearly he isn't a lost cause. Thacker is a human who, apparently, almost always just sits down and stares into space, and is kept in a cage. A cage that's a few feet from a safe room, where he could be instead?? Like. That's not great.

Stuff in stories matters. It's meant to be interpreted. And the interpretation of this isn't great.

1. How does your character think of their father? What do they hate and love about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did the father have?

SC hates his dad. His dad ditched him and made his mother into how she is today, and he has zero sympathy for his father’s death. He hates everything about him, and loves nothing about him. The only influence SC’s dad had on him was giving him severe abandonment issues.

2. Their mother? How do they think of her? What do they hate? Love? What influence - literal or imagined - did the mother have?

God, fuck that fucking bitch. She treated him like shit when he was still talking to her. Even hit him sometimes. She was (according to Brett and Chet; SC was too young to remember) perfectly fine before their father left. Then she became bitter and hateful. She used SC like a credit card and he got fucking tired of it. Her influences on SC include giving him crazy bad mommy issues and a general distrust for familial relationships.

3. Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their siblings?

Two twin brothers, Brett and Chet. Fucking dumbasses. SC got all the brains (but none of the brawn). He doesn’t hate them, but he doesn’t talk to them much and rarely sees them.

4. What type of discipline was your character subjected to at home? Strict? Lenient?

SC’s mother was a mixture of strict and lenient. She didn’t care about most things, like Brett and Chet sneaking out all the time, but she cared a great deal about SC slacking on his chores or saying something she perceived as rude.

5. Were they overprotected as a child? Sheltered?
