the ruins were filled with a language he didn’t understand , which in itself, was nothing new for jack. that’s usually how these research missions offworld went. babysit a couple of scientists while they did whatever it was they were doing. walk to one end of the perimeter and back on patrol between he and teal’c while carter examined whatever otherworldly technology was left behind and @starwent did his thing with the whole language thing. it wasn’t that the action of jaffa and goa’uld rules planets were more fun ⸻ he was just… for lack of a better word, bored.
