For a fandom that frequently complains about Jar Jar Binks, this is pretty disappointing. 

So I’m just asking anyone who sees this to go onto the site and vote for Padmé. It’ll take 2 seconds of your time, and if you want, you can do it on multiple browsers/devices if you really want.

Why is this important?

it’s important because right now, it looks like no one appreciates or even likes the female characters in star wars. And since this voting is taken at least a little bit seriously, it could mean that we don’t get much more than the few female characters we currently have. There’s only been one main female character per trilogy so far, and people voting for notoriously hated characters over the female ones isn’t going to make that better.
