Rn whats keeping me motivated is uh, Sonic-related Yaoi shennanigans. And that there's a local art alley thing happening here soon and last time there was one of those I brought a print that was Sonic & Jet and I was describing this WIP Sonjet fic I was working on and now chapter 1 is mostly done I was like "I need designs tho" so I was like, i gotta complete at LEAST Jet before I post the fic bc Sonic isn't too different and easy to picture in ur head bc a lot of fans like givng him a varsity jacket, but Jet like. How the fuck do I describe his boots without going full my immortal purple prose level yknow? So HERE HE IS!!!! (Crossposted the main pic on Bsky)

His "Starverse" design! Also for anyone curious, the chest area. the blue fur is getting a bit long and he isn't upkeeping with his "aerodynamic shave" as regularly anymore. More below the cut, including OG sketch with some notes!

Prolly should have done a clean lineart version of his back but it's not at all complicated; spines slot through the fabric, and can snap shut with tiny magnets imbeded into the fabric (tails made the fabric itself so of course he can upgrade it too). Gaia bracelet can be worn but the main 2 fics that use this design he doesn't wear it, fic 1 thats not released yet is bc hes in the Sol dimension and doesn't want to take anything linked strongly to his world there, and Fic 2 is like, he just has not had the time to but it back on yet.
