We're coming to the end of the Stanford Startup Engineering challenge. It's a been a wild ride, with some really interesting ideas.

We've had fun participating, and it's been an inspiration, but Bright Canopy is just getting started. Now's the part where we get even more serious and dig into those customer interviews.

Today is really good day, I waked up by 3:30 am, yes I had a long nap from 10 am to 11:30 but the starting of the day was excellent

  In the morning, I was looking for motivation, trying to resume my passion for learning new things, materials in my lovely field computer science, I logged into Coursera and went to the Startup Engineering and checked the forum, there was many interesting discussion between students from different perspective and different levels of knowledge about the modern technologies in the field, about the advantages and disadvantages of the available and modern tools and techniques, and about the working in teams for the first times and long intervals.

  I started reading lecture one and diving in the links mentioned in it, there was many inspiring materials , there they implements the saying "Unleash your creative potential, you can do it", I just read half the lecture but what I really loved was the linked articles especially

Focus. Disconnect. Do not be distracted.

Do not accept their speed limit.

Nobody will teach you anything. You have to teach yourself.

Learn from your heroes, not only theirs.

Don't get stuck in the past.

When done, be valuable.

Today I resume my studying with a high spirit I decided:

to cancel my supposed internship and study hard in those 45 days before returning to college.

A good idea is not just the one sentence which gains you entrance to the maze. It’s the collection of smaller tweaks that defines a path through the maze, along with explanations of why this particular combination will work while others nearby have failed. Note that this requires an extremely detailed understanding of your current and potential competitors; if you believe you don’t have any competitors, think again until you’ve found the most obvious adjacent market. This exercise is of crucial importance; as Larry Ellison said, “Choose your competitors carefully, as you will become a lot like them.”

A-fucking-men, brother!

Too often, we seem to forget that it’s genuine accomplishment we’re after, and we just train people to compete forever. But that does everyone a great disservice if what’s theoretically optimal is to manage to stop competing, i.e. to become a monopoly and enjoy success.
