We played Risk, and these are the flags we created for our “nations” before we started.

The entire shop had been so slow all day.  Gene had decided to run off to the nearest McDonald’s but that was over half an hour ago.  It was not that Argo cared too much, but it did leave him somewhat bored.  It lead him to taking control of the music.  It cycled through several Pandora stations.  First, it was Shwayze, then David Lynch and ending presently with late seventies and early eighties hits. 

This helped Argo past the time as it neared to closing time. He bobbed his around, imitating his best Breakfast Club impression.  Each time he set up the inventory in it’s proper spot, he did a special dance pose then went to the next one. 

Sure, time was passing but through the music, he heard the bell of the door sound through the shop -- just barely missing the measure just enough off beat. Argo sang along to the tune as he greeted which ever guest walked through with a, “Welcome to Fools-A-Round! Subjected to change name’s since we can’t decide! But that shouldn’t stop you from coming inside! Just know we got the right PRICE!”

Argo took a moment from stocking his products, taking a handful upfront to the register before dropping them all on the ground.  There she was.

And man was she beautiful as ever. 

And man, she looked tired.

He had stepped over the products and continued to his spot behind the counter. 

Argo’s first instinct was to suggest a movie and chill night. Maybe with a bottle of wine and eat fruit, because he was craving bananas and grapes. But he thought that was a weird thought for that moment so he pushed it all out of the way.

“Well!” He choked the phrase up and covered it as a nervous laughter. “Our dildo’s are 20% off. Which is like, no tax, honestly. “ Argo scratched his tangles in his curls out then walked behind the register, avoiding eye contact with his best friend who he had not seen in months. 

“Or,  we have these like...new on-the-go dildos which if I had a vagina, I would consider it. ‘Cause it’s like this remote and you can keep it on your person and whenever you want, just like....turn it on, pick a speed and you can be like getting off as you order your coffee and nobody will know. And also, you can travel on planes cause like, I’m 90% shirt you could just say it’s one of those---”  

He trailed off.  He started twiddling with old receipts before he finally got to the point.
