N. Do you curse a lot?

Occasionally It's not the most eloquent or intelligent way to express myself, but I will admit that it can be very satisfying

R. What was the last book you purchased?

If I remember correctly, it was a copy of One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi. Something rather nasty happened to my old copy, and I had to replace it.

I wish I had that book with me now. It would have come in very useful. Ah, well. I'll hold out hope that somebody will bring me a copy.

Z. What was your last argument about and who with?

My last client. When I refused to give him the Elixir to Induce Euphoria that he'd requested without due payment, the conversation got rather heated. It was nothing serious. At the very least, there was no damage to my workroom, and I sincerely doubt that that man will be troubling me again.

It's probably an extreme talent to be able to lose something without ever leaving your room. James stares at his open bag lying on the bed, trying desperately to recall where the cloth bandages are, and if he even has any left. He knows that supplies are constantly low, but someone stealing his bandages is a stretch. Heaving a sigh, he falls backwards onto the mattress and just stares at the ceiling, contemplating asking Lily but ultimately deciding against it because then she'd ask why he needed bandages and he doesn't really have time to explain why he likes hanging out with dangerous creatures at night. He can't even ask his wife where the bandages are.

James groans into the pillow, finding some hidden motivation in him to get off the bed and just finish packing for tonight. He'll just wing it, hoping that the Wolfsbane will work well enough that they won't have any need for healing supplies. He's very good at lying, especially to himself.
