Most people will probably get their memories altered through magic. The contract of Port Arbores, which is law for all the otherworldly creatures living there advises to “execute those who know too much”. “Too much” in that case means, that they have so much knowledge about the world behind the glammer that memory altering magic won’t work anymore. Such magic only works on the short-term memory and trying fiddle with long-term memory can have disastrous effects on the mind of the person.

In some cases the human is offered a deal to serve the Otherworld in some way or another. The punishment for breaking such a deal in normally death.

The reason I’ve been asking is because… I would really like to see later parts of the Claymore manga animated. Not panel by panel, scene by scene – although that is the dream – but just moments or characters.

Especially since someone posted about wishing the manga, or at least characters in the manga, post-Pieta, were animated. (I totally cannot find the post tho 😩)

The idea would be to round up a few illustrators, animators, maybe even voices! together, to create these moments.
