Starscrypt v.4: Runes & Sigils
I hesitate putting these out into the world, but I figure tumblr would understand. Been developing these systems for a few years and finally sat down today and finalized them. There are 32 runes, and while my explanations for them are the core, if YOU associate something else with them, you're welcome to use your translation for them <3 For the sigils, the idea is "As above, So below" so you draw the word as is, and then redraw it by using the opposite corresponding letters. I like to use all the letters i can, but duplicates can be removed. Reclaiming the name as it was initially meant to be used for: Starscrypt and to add: the other reason behind making these runes is that so many of the ones from antiquity have been co-opted or distorted over time. I created these with the intention of love and light, but also darkness and insight. Not all that is dark is evil, and not everything that is light is pure. These symbols can be a balance versus good or bad, but never evil. Evil and corruption is not what these symbols are for and never will be.
