I‘m sorry but I will never understand people who keep their books meticulously clean. always too aware of not getting any dog ears into the pages or not to crack the spine of the book. BUT THATS THE WHOLE SENSE !!! I want to be able to throw my book away in agony, I wanna use my fucking protein bar wrapper as a bookmark, I wanna read my book properly spread out and scribble a thousand notes in between the pages. that‘s not murdering your books, that‘s experiencing them like the literature gods intended.

I want a slow life again. would love to send post cards and heartfelt letters to my loved ones. want to have my own little garden and really take care of everything and have patience in the growth. I want to take walks without feeling rushed or overstimulated, without peeking at my phone every other minute. want to watch the sunset from beginning to end, watch the colors paint the sky so beautifully and feel myself take an actual breath again.
