the boy welcomed them into the little ice cream parlour with a smile and hopped over the counter. “what can i get for you today? the usual? or do you want to branch out and try something interesting? we have caramel balsamic swirl in new this week, if you like caramel i’d totally recommend you try a scoop.” he wiggled his eyebrows and grabbed an ice cream scoop. “how’s your week going? did you see the strawberries back in stock at the market? best day of my life, i can tell ya.”

‘‘I should’ve known it was you when they told me someone was trying to order something that isn’t on the menu,’‘ teagan teased them as she slightly leaned against the bar, a cheeky smile curving the side of her lips. ‘’Long day?’’ It was the favorite part of her day, to listen to whatever the clients (most of them long-time friends) had to say. She wasn’t a bartender, but she was behind the bar and could listen to people success stories and preoccupations. ‘’I recommend the cold beer and curled fries,’’ she gently tapped the menu in front of them with her index finger. 

But with the weather improving, he preferred to do his reading outside.    the day was young ; the sun was just starting to rise. it was the blonde’s favourite time of day. primrose twirled around the shop ; her dress poofing out with each spin. she turned up the volume on her phone - which was plugged into a microphone making the song much louder. the live version of shallow played while the girl danced around. primrose hoped no one would walk into the store : mainly because she’d have to stop dancing and be professional.
