Ash was happy she persuaded Lance to do this. He was hesitant at first, but after a long talk he was willing. The idea of fame attracted both porcupines, and Lance reassured Ash if she "stayed in her place with the band" they couldn't go wrong. Hopefully she could make up for yesterday's back up vocal incident. After about ten minutes in line, Lance said he had to go take a phone call. Ash couldn't ask from who without sounding "super clingy" per Lance's words, so she just nodded and agreed to keep their spot in line. Alone, Ash looked around to scope out the competition, wondering if this line would ever move. It looked like some animals were getting interviewed. With a deep breath, Ash tries to relax and not psych herself out. She makes eye contact with someone in line in front of her, and not entirely sure what to do, Ash gives a small smile before looking away.

Karoline felt a bit uncomfortable when every candy themed staff are monitoring her that way. But when she noticed that kind of grin, something’s just not quite right, especially when it seemed familiar, but shook it off and began her own intro “you may call me Karoline Oakwood, and I for on am from the Woodland Meadow, an all natural adventure game where gamers help out my critter friends and stop the cruel machinery from invading my humbled home” by the speaking of the word ‘friend’ Karoline looked around worriedly about her Teddiursa “wait- where’s Maple? He’s a Teddiursa and like a son to me, this small like a teddy bear (a Pokémon that is) where is he!?” she panicked

The false King felt his expression flickering into confusion. He should have been a bit more informed in the hand-held console games, but surely they were only a phase! People went to arcades for the experience! No no. These... Game Boys would never last. He was only vaguely familiar with Pokemon. ONE Pokemon. Pikachu. That was the one he knew. That was it.
