#starbound crew

drew my starbound man, freelance, and his current crew! they're family and i can never abandon them

Day 6

Going to be frank, played A LOT of Starbound today! To the point that I probably should take a break from it! xD

Most of it had to do with the image above, but there were a number of milestones besides that!

I braved a moon and stocked up on crystals, a venture that was terrifying to say the least. I started out running along the surface in complete darkness until I fell into a deep hole. I tried to get back up but the monster was already there, so I went down... further and further down. 10 minutes turned to 20 to 30 and I was beginning to wonder if I was going to die down there.

Eventually, I pulled myself together and started pushing myself up with dirt towers and digging through ceilings. I eventually made it to the surface, which was a HUGE relief! Just seeing that sunlit ground, omg...

I immediately jumped to another star system, settled for a Savannah planet. Died, many many times there as I was still in Tier 2 armor. Got my ass handed to me many many times at a human prison. They just kept ganging up on me, even with crew mates there to distract them!

Eventually, I got enough titanium just from raiding boxes along the surface to get me a full set of armor!

I also got the hunter’s knife! It was actually why I went to the Savannah planet in the first place! It’s knife that would usually be sheathed on your back, but my hair is so goofy it covers it up entirely! Now I don’t have to wear a cape anymore! Though it’s kind of weird to be without it now xD

As soon as I had my armor and my knife, I took off for one of the ocean planets. Found a Hylotl city at the bottom of the sea! God, those Hylotl really know how to live! It was such a cool place! Hell I’d live there if I had the option! ^^

Anyways, that’s the general stuff. Now, let me introduce you to my crew!

I’m going in order of when they joined, so please forgive me for not going the order listed above. xD

Haruna: She took me by COMPLETE surprise! I was on a hunting mission for Zawat, taking down an outlaw. God, was I taken aback when I fought her! My rocket launcher was doing pitiful damage to her, meanwhile her weapons were hurting bad. I only won by getting her stuck down a pit and dropping rockets on her until her health whittled down. To my shock, she asked to be a member of my crew! Of course I accepted! Even with my Novakid I never got an outlaw on my team! Not to mention a cute dorky female one! I love her to death and will most definitely keep her to the end of the game!

Zawat: Returned the quest for hunting Haruna. She immediately requested to join my crew! I was so happy to get a tailor so early! Now I can enforce dresses on everyone! >:D I love that she looks like an artist! ^^

Xola: She was a soldier at the same village Zawat originated from. She asked me to kill some monsters, then she got me on a series of fetch quests. The fetch quests ended with a mask permanently adorned on her face. I have no idea to hate or love the thing. Almost want to keep her for the uncertainty alone, but I may drop her down the line as I already have a soldier I was never dump...

Kelsey: Yeah, remember that green afro woman I talked about the previous day? I got her! ^^ It was a pain in the ass, considering she lived underground and all her quests were above ground... One of which was an escort mission... But I stuck to it and succeeded! :D I had NO idea her name was Kelsey! It was truely fate!

Aina: Picked her up at the Hylotl city! Was actually pursuing a number of girls there, but she was the only one I could get. Dunno if I have much use for a healer, but we’ll see!
