I'm sat right next to the pool lifeguard's chair and umbrella and all I can think about if lifeguard!Luke "reserving" the lounger next to him for you, just so he can look at you and chat. And when someone else sits there bc you're not going to the pool, he's so sulky about it bc to him, that's YOUR seat. He's also so corny with the "Don't worry, I'll save you." And "Don't you want a very sexy lifeguard saving your life? Shirtless and giving you mouth to mouth? Bc I'm very good at mouth to mouth, I can show you, if you like." He consumes me.
He so would as well 😭 he’d hate it when you’re not there because he kinda side eyes whoever took your seat. Like who is this imposter. Definitely sulks the rest of the day. And he would totally be a flirt. You would have to remind him that he is supposed to be focussed on the pool and not you 😭 ‘can’t help it if you’re beautiful.'

Ethan frowned slightly when he saw the sign. ‘Broken. Do not use.’ He could’ve sworn the lounger was okay yesterday and if it was broken they would’ve moved it to storage so he was confused. He couldn’t dwell on it for long though as the pool opened in twenty minutes and they still had to finish setting up for the day ahead.
Luke was scheduled for lifeguard duty’s today which should’ve been Ethan’s first clue. It wasn’t until he walked past the tower and saw you lying on the lounger that it clicked. Luke had put that sign on so no one could sit there but you. Ethan shook his head, grinning at his friend. Reserving loungers was against the rules, thanks to an incident that happened last summer with a few moms, but he couldn’t blame Luke. The guy was madly in love. Didn’t mean he wasn’t going to tease his friend about it a little.
Tyler was the first person Ethan told. He immediately went over to the snack bar, where he was working today, and told him everything. A mischievous glint was in Tyler’s eyes. The boy had a plan and Ethan was more than happy to join in.
The moment Luke took the two slushies off of Tyler and went on his lunch break he shut the shutters, shutting the snack bar for a bit. The kid walking up groaned but Tyler didn’t care. He had a plan to execute. “Sorry kid, toilet break.” Was all he said and dashed off to meet Ethan at the tower.
Sure enough the sign was back on the seat. This was perfect. Tyler grabbed one end while Ethan got the other. They grunted as they lifted the lounger, taking it to the storage room. That thing was heavy and Ethan hoped Luke would see the funny side of things because he doesn’t think he could put it back today.
They made it to the store room, with a few strange looks sent their way. With a sigh, the boys wiped the sweat off their forehead. Tyler was somehow still grinning despite the manuel labour they just did. “Now we wait.”
Tyler was practically hanging outside the window of the snack bar wanting to see Luke’s reaction to the missing lounger while Ethan was sat on the tower, trying to act casual. Luke came around the corner, his hand in yours. He was leaning down to say something to you in your ear making you giggle. The two of you were cute together and Ethan was beginning to feel a little bad about the prank.
“Where’s the lounger gone?” Luke asked, frowning when he saw the empty space.
“It had a sign saying it was broken so we moved it to the store room.” Ethan shrugged trying to act nonchalant about it.
“That was Y/N’s seat.” Luke was upset. His clenched jaw and hands balled up beside him gave it away. You slipped your hand into his, pressing gentle kisses against his shoulder as you tried to calm him down. You saw the funny side of the prank but you can see why Luke is upset. He saved that seat for you and now it’s gone he’s worried you won’t sit next to him. Which is stupid because you’d gladly sit on the floor if it meant you were still next to Luke. You thought it was cute he wanted to save you a seat even when you insisted it wasn’t necessary.
“We thought it was broken so we moved it out of the way.” Ethan said, his voice lacking the same confidence it had before. He’s never seen Luke this upset before at a prank. The boys were always pranking each other at the pool. It’s how they get through the summer and the long shifts.
“It’s fine. I’ll just grab another seat.” You told him, leaning up to press a chaste kiss against Luke’s lips.

In regard to your post about what people want from your blog, I'd say it's important to know what you want people to come to your blog for too!
I really found your movie night with Luke blurb so so cute and if you feel comfortable writing blurbs, you should go for it! It's really not as nerving as it seems, it's really fun! Just remember that people WILL read it and to not get caught up in people pleasing with it (and write for whichever players YOU want too!).
But if you enjoy talking about players or something along those lines, you should do what makes you happy!
