So how's Final Fest treating ya? (also thanks for reblogging my art piece, it means a lot)
Final Fest is super fun!! I won three 10x battles so far, as well as getting two 100x encounters when playin with my friend. We won the second one which was the first 100x i've ever won so it was great :^)! Also hearing the different songs is rlly nice!! Like rn I think just Spicy Calamari Inkantation is playing, and then for Now or Never, all the girls are singing úwù
And of course!! You're are is rlly nice!! Deserves the reblogs!!
Have you any tips for your fellow artits?
hi! i dont really know what youre looking for so ill give some basic tips that have helped me. im only 17, not a professional, so please take everything with a grain of salt! it doesnt apply to everyone and may not be helpful for you.
consider everything youre drawing in 3D space. we live in a three dimensional world, so adding that dimension will breathe a little more life into your work. it also gives you a better idea of shape!
if you work digitally, flip your canvas early and frequently. pretty much everyone has trouble with balancing features; i often find my far eyes floating up or down on the face. if you flip the canvas late in drawing youll only become painfully aware of glating errors that are there permanently unless you want to go back and redo a ton. so unless thats something youd want to do, id say either flip often (my recommendation) or not at all.
when youre having trouble with your work, try letting loose and doodling with abandon. dont put effort in. challenge yourself to no erase anything. use art supplies less fancy than your usual if thats an issue. itll help your art be looser and more expressive in the future. also, use it to practice posing if you draw people/animals!

So I looked into the Japanese Splatfest dialogue for Hare vs Tortoise and... there is some noticeable differences. Personally, the English one is fine to me, but the Japanese one is a bit cuter. (I posted the rough translation on Discord)
oh, i see, i see. But i could definitely see how their english dialogue COULD be just. friends being teasing pals. marina’s dialogue is just a bit. touchy. for me.
4, spurred by a offhanded comment by Marie, enlisted 8 and 3 to make an album. And just because, the joke album managed to top the charts, rocketing the Agents to celebrity status on par with Off the Hook and Squid Sisters. Cue appropriate reactions.
