a bit about me
hi hello! if you’ve been following this blog for any amount of time you’ve probably realized I’m not really around any more. I rly hate when artists I like just disappear, so I feel like I owe you guys an explanation.
the short story is that I guess I just kinda fell out of the fandom? I still really love the arcana but I stopped playing it a while ago, and then I lost the hyperfixation and the motivation to write as much.
but I actually made this blog for two reasons-- because I loved the arcana, but also because I loved you all, and I wanted to get to know you. I started college last year, and wound up with a group of friends who didn’t understand me at all. by the spring semester I felt so ridiculously lonely, and also so ridiculously obsessed with this visual novel app. I really needed the support of the arcana community (and you guys all supported me beyond any reasonable expectation, really). but this long weird winding story has a point, I promise! this summer, I went on hiatus while I worked at a sleep-away camp with no service, and by the time I got back, I felt like myself again. I distanced myself from the people who were draining me and started putting myself out there (I joined theater, guys. that’s a big deal lol I do NOT act). and I think little by little, I stopped needing the constant likes and reblogs and approval after every post.
that’s maybe not satisfying to hear, since it means I’m unlikely to suddenly make a huge comeback. but I do want you to understand the full context when I tell you how incredibly, overwhelmingly grateful I am for all of you. you guys carried me for months, sending me pms of love, leaving positive messages in my inbox, even creating your own stuff and tagging me??? I could never have expected to meet so many talented, creative, kind people through a silly romance game. every one of you, just by liking my stuff or sending requests, reminded me that I was worthy of love at a time when I was really doubting it. thank you all so so so so.....sososo much. I love you guys more than I can say.
and on a more positive note, I fell into some new fandoms, and I’ve been considering transitioning to a multi-fandom blog for a while now. how do you guys feel about that? let me know!!
all my love,
-fae

cries
Every time I receive an email and its not Pottermore I make this weird growl that resembles Chewie from Star Wars.
