I admittedly don’t watch a lot of kpop stuff these days. So for me, it’s mostly from dream ideas or just conversations I have with my friends. However, some storylines do come from videos. I have a Monsta X as treasure hunters idea that stemmed from Changkyun’s outfit in a Fantasia live performance. I couldn’t stop thinking of his outfit being suited to a bit of an El Dorado type of adventure and came up with the idea. Generally, a photo can help with inspiring an idea too!

I would have to say 80% of my ideas do come from dreams/ conversations I’ve held with others though.
