They seemed to be the most useless of roommates to each other. Kaede knew heâd always forget whenever it was his turn to cook, but that didnât excuse the fact that Asahi left the living room reminiscent of tornado wreckage. Whatever it was, they never seemed to agree on a thing.
Though, with paper thin walls like these⊠Kaede knew that there was probably some apology due for the sounds from last night. Even if itâs not something he should be embarrassed of, and damn well he shouldâve been proud for coming out on top of Albert for that, but still that wasnât good enough as a roommate.
Heâs up early for once, meaning past ten oâclock. Finding Asahi in the kitchen, he knows that itâs better to get it up and over with now, rather than drag it out over the sound of a radio that only knows how to play a few songs.
âHey uh⊠Iâm sorry about last night. Shouldâve warned you that we would um⊠be playing Monopoly.â
