Ophelia is trans, but uses Ophelia in act 1 since that's her given name. In the future acts, they'll go by Phoenix and use he/him and they/them pronouns.

she is a tiny bit pretentious when it comes to music but that doesn't come into play yet </3.

she carries around a digital camera later on in my mind cuz she loves taking pictures!

ophelia's a bit of a music perfectionist which is why she's kind of annoyed with grey </3. she thinks their voice is great, but the showing off gets to her often cuz they keep making mistakes.

Ophelia does not have a favourite food, but they're partial to soups and stews!

they love cooking, it's their favourite pastime, outside of music.

ophelia's middle name is euterpe.

in my head, there's a moment where ophelia loses their mp3 player and either bem or grey finds it, but assumes it belongs to finley because of the music that's on it.

ophelia eventually learns how to alter clothes, they love thrifting in the future!

speaking of clothes, ophelia's fashion sense for a while was entirely comprised of what mary bought them. for a few months, it was assumed that ophelia really liked pink cuz that's what they usually wore, but later admitted to actually preferring red

ophelia's favourite pokemon are growlithe, umbreon, and chansey. they think they're neat.

ophelia kicked alex in the shins.

they're emotional, but in a "my emotions are too big for my body" way, and it often results in tears. sad? tears. angry? tears. happy? tears. it stressed the halloways out in the beginning.

ophelia's birthday is september 30!

ophelia has a habit of walking silently and it takes some getting used to.

ophelia's favourite "snack" are those chocolate oranges you can break and they turn into orange slices.

ophelia is incredibly short, and stays short until senior year, where they get a weird growth spurt that makes them shoot up from like. 157 cm (5'2) to 167 cm (5'6). they gain an extra inch when they eventually go on testosterone. however, currently they are a short stack of pancakes that doesn't even break 152 cm (5 ft) in my eyes.

Some symbolisms that I associate with Ophelia:

the animal i associate with them the most is the akita inu, specifically the story of hachiko. however, another animal i associate with ophelia are robins, who symbolize new beginnings and growth.

a bug i associate with them are dragonflies, who symbolize change and transformation. dragonflies are also important symbols in japanese culture. they symbolize courage, strength, happiness and victory. people also associate them with protecting children.

the specific colour i associate with ophelia the most is red-orange, specifically the hex code ff4500.

the flower i associate with ophelia are red camellias. in hanakotoba, red camellias mean love, but they can also represent a noble death.

a poem i associate with ophelia a lot is "let dead dogs lie" by silas denver melvin (slight warning for allusions of abuse if you look for it)

scent wise, ophelia tends to smell like oranges, specifically a citrus orchard. they occasionally smell like chocolates. when they're older, they also tend to smell like pomegranates.

other symbols associated with ophelia are the north star and lighthouses.

I was thinking about MC and thought that they would fit a wolfdog.

An animal that's both a wolf and a dog so it doesn't really fit in either world.

They can't follow orders or handle people like they're "supposed" too, with strange impulses they can't articulate or even fully understand themselves.
