powers :    primary: hyperkinetics / secondary: trajectory manipulation / tertiary: adoptive muscle memory

limitations :    limits: in order to make optimal use of his abilities, charon's field of vision must be clear. the more obscured and impaired his vision, the less successful his maneuvers will be. likewise with maneuvers he sees in videos, the quality of video will have to be of good quality or charon won't be able to mimic them.

appearance :    while his ability works in high visibility areas, charon's hero appearance is very dark and unassuming. there's a few boat and river accents to echo his namesake.

ORIGIN AND NORMAL LIFE:

description on file :    within the lazarus front, charon had his abilities awakened and subsequently trained under within lazarus front operations in an effort to bring a semblance of peace after the grandstand. he current waits for orders in the fortitude hall headquarters. charon enjoys deployment and being able to both take and give orders. as much as charon enjoys the action and fast pace of missions, he also enjoys the bureaucracy of the everyday operations.

behind the hero :    outside of fortitude hall official business, nero is trying to have a happy and balanced life married to a husband with a kid. there are many feats of acrobatic prowess that charon can pull off but balancing being a superhero and domesticity is proving to be a challenge.

Há séculos e séculos atrás Scarlett era uma Serafim e isso era tudo que ela sabia ser, e tudo que ela costumava ser. Até o dia em que se cansou de obedecer ordens superiores e observar a humanidade a distância, o que lhe rendeu extensas experiências no mundo humano. Ao longo dos anos, sua conexão com os humanos se fortaleceu, se tornando cada vez mais profunda e complexa, fazendo com que ela não conseguisse se manter distante dos seres tão distintos e belos, se desviando até de cumprir o seu próprio papel no Céu. Ao longo dos séculos tentou erguer um muro para se proteger dos sentimentos não sentidos e do envolvimento com os outros seres, mas quanto mais tentava se manter distante mais sentia que aquele muro desmoronava lentamente, despedaçando-a.

Não demorou muito tempo para que ela se apaixonasse por um humano, o falecido soldado, combatente de guerra Friedrich Thiron, e o sentimento que se aflorou foi o inicio do seu fim.

Um sentimento tão carnal e lascivo não detinha qualquer outro adjetivo senão mundano, e senti-lo fez com que o seu cargo de Comodora fosse revogado, e como se não suficiente, ela foi expulsa do céu. Suas asas brancas e puras foram arrancadas de seu corpo com a indescritível violência de mil laminas afiadas. Pluma por pluma, gotícula por gotícula, a honra lhe foi arrancada e ela tremeu. Tremeu quando a divindade lhe atingiu com a dor de uma navalha cega. Ela desejou dissipar-se pelo ar junto da sua ultima pluma, desejou, até que desapareceu sob a faca afiada.

Como um anjo caído, todos os outros a viam como maldição, manchada por permitir que as emoções governassem suas decisões e a distanciassem da sua pura divindade. Se sucumbiu ao pior dos pecados, e ao pousar sobre a Terra, com as cicatrizes angelicais adornando o seu corpo danificado e vulnerável, se abrigou no único lugar que se parecia com a sua casa, coldwater.

powers :   primary: electrical telekinesis / secondary: electromagnetic vision / tertiary: alien languages

limitations :   when using his vision for extended amounts of time, his other senses get overstimulated leading to debilitating migraines. his human body just isn't built to handle all spectrums of light and such like his alien's form is

appearance :   nondescript body armor as he's more ranged support than an on the ground fighter. no headwear for maximum vision clarity.

ORIGIN AND NORMAL LIFE:

decription on file :   tech whiz, devon brooks caught in a vehicle accident where the other vehicle was a crash landing space ship no bigger than his hand. the alien, bilek'lo is a refugee on the run due to a planet wide coup he caused. he exited his ship and took up residence in devon's nearly dead body. they aren't two personalities in one head, rather a mix of what was left over after they both nearly died. 

behind the hero :   now he works in it for fortitude hall, hoping to help however he can while slipping under the radar enough to not attract interplanetary attention. otherwise he enjoys socializing and partaking in the gifts and vices human life and physiology has to offer.

    powers :       primary - angelic-alien technology via holy ring bestowal: nefertiti bares their race’s powers by a golden ring embedded along their tail, calling upon ‘divine’ energies from this world & beyond that grant them large claw gauntlets of an ancient metal, a whipping tail of holy fire, & the ability to breathe holy fire at opponents.    /   secondary - divine rune casting: from the holy ring along their tail, nefertiti is able to cast runes of their people that can invoke either blessing-like energies or harsh curses for people depending on what the runes invoke.    /   tertiary - feline physiology: as part of their race, nefertiti naturally has a felinic physiology mixed with humanoid features, mostly that of cat ears, vertical pupils, and a tail. they’re often glamoured to conceal / appear more human, but their tail usually stays out. 

    limitations :  bloodstones - a testament to their 'divine’ heritage, bloodstones are said to be made of the pure opposite of what nefertiti’s power comes from, and when near them, it renders their powers to a dangerously weak scale, doubled if the bloodstone is enchanted or nefertiti is cut with one, also physically weakening them.

    appearance :   relying along the visuals of a holy cat guardian or angel of sorts, nefertiti’s apparel revolves along a small white-gold bikini, a holy visor that covers their eyes as well as metal ears, and holy pink ribbons and bands along their arms and ankles that match the holy band that is on their tail. their tail also bares a white floating flame when in costume.

    description on file :   sitting on the very border of the mystical & the extraterrestrial, nefertiti appeals the people almost like that of an ancient goddess with their otherworldly aura and their 'heavenly’ gift to battle evil. their ability to manifest the divine has made them a very notable hero, and has become a guardian to the helpless and extremely vulnerable. 

    behind the hero :   hailing from the planet ubeqtar, laila’s race of people were considered blood descendent of what this universe would possibly consider 'angels’, thus creating a uniquely religious culture dedicated to the the decoding of pre-historic runes. however, their planet became embroiled in a civil galactic war, and their home was overrun with adversarial heretics who destroyed and sold their people into slavery. in a last hope effort, laila’s caretakers stowed them  along a ring of saturn, where they drifted in a gem like pod that would crash into earth’s atmosphere centuries later. fascinated with earth’s culture and their various histories of religion and tradition, laila would become fortitude’s newest head of research, though when the time calls, they brandish their ring and protect, fueled with the hope of people never having to experience what they’ve lost.
