So rereading Overtures and knowing what happens in Crescendos is just like wow.
The groundwork for that whole fight is so there and the way it's handle is amazing and agh. I think I'm actually excited to read Crescendos now?

So it's been complete for a while and we're slack etc etc, I'm just so in love with this 'verse and can never put my feels into coherent words?
Staccatos is the fourth installment of the Symphony 'verse. In case you've been living under a rock or are new to this blog, the Symphony 'verse is an AU in which Blaine has a stutter and is even more perfect than any of us thought possible and all of us absolutely adore it.Â
Unlike the rest of the Symphony 'verse, Staccatos shows Kurt and Blaine at a very stable, mature point in their relationship and, as a result, is more about Kurt and Blaine, than KurtandBlaine. In saying that, there are still adorable klaine moments and their relationship is still at the crux of it. In Staccatos, Blaine makes important decisions about his future, improves on his speech, gets celebratory blow jobs, expands his friendship circle, relapses on his speech, gets upset, blangst, improves on his speech, gets celebratory blow jobs and both boys do a whole lot of growing up. Also, the OCs continue to be perfect and continue to make me fall in love with them (especially Matt, Matt is the world's most perfect man/friend/person).
This is probably my favourite installment of the 'verse so far.

Several beers later, however, and Blaine has decided to pretend that he’s Kurt’s secret service agent. He’ll stand in front of Kurt, and mumble nonsense into his shoulder. “Poop, I’m an agent too. What are you doing?” Kurt asks the first time Blaine puts a protective arm out as they walk to the keg. “I have an assignment, and I am responsible for your protection,” he says seriously, in a voice that’s a cross between John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, and every other secret service agent in any movie ever. Kurt looks at him confusedly and pumps his beer. “You definitely should not be doing that. Let me test it for you,” Blaine grabs the cup and gulps it down. “Not sure it’s safe.” He mumbles into his shoulder again.
