I’ve rewatched “Sins of the Father” (Star Trek: The Next Generation, season 3, episode 17) and it’s a very Klingon episode. Do you remember Riker serving on a Klingon ship? Well, now a Klingon officer came to serve on Enterprise. He makes everybody overwork badly. Everybody except Worf. (Spoilers!) Then it turns out that this Klingon is Worf’s younger brother and that their father (who’s obviously dead) is accused of betraying the Empire (that he gave some security codes to Romulans, who then destroyed the Khitomer outpost). Now, Worf needs to defend the honour of the family. At first, his brother helps him, but then he is attacked and now Worf needs somebody else to represent him – he chooses Captain Picard. Well, in the end, it appears that, of course, their father wasn’t the traitor – father of a Klingon who called Worf out was. A very interesting episode shows us some Klingon culture and gives Worf character development.
