that's actually a cool thing to know. :) Thank you for the information! That does fit nicely in an episode where Chuck's Winchester gospel is getting a few twists and turns and the creator is quite liking the outcome and in that regard also isn't too deadset on how his work is perceived and how it transcends.

That being said, when reading your message, I sort of had to think back to 9x13 "The Purge". Now, there we didn't have an Alphonso, but an Alonso, who was a big mirror for Dean at the time and how the mark was slowly turning him into something he didn't want to be. While this of course doesn't have anything to do with St. Alphonso, I can't help but think that we've seen Dean trying really hard the past two episodes, but getting the impression the way he cuts back at the moment - the way Alonso was sentenced to - might blow up in their faces.

I have talked tons of times how I think Dean's supposed cured status (which he himself didn't mention and sort of gives room fot the possibility of something sinister still bubbling underneath the surface aside from the mark) will become an issue around midseason and I continue to believe that. Right now Dean does what most would do when it's all too much to bear, the weight of all your mistakes crushing back into you. Keeping your hands busy. And that us exactly what Dean is doing. He tries to be productive in order to take his mind of what he might truly be itching for. And while this is a good sort of alternative at the moment, I think it will only work for so long unless you really let yourself feel and work through your issues.

Over the past two episodes enough hints were given that not all is well in Dean Winchester land. He is restless, he doesn't sleep, he tries to hunt as much as possible to make up for his time as a demon. At the same time though - and I hope this will be explored further in the coming episodes - I think mentally there is a huge struggle going on and Dean beating himself up over everything that happened. He might not be a demon anymore, but his demons are far from gone. And I guess in the end, it might not take much to send Dean over the edge. In fact a little push might be enough.
