Another group for the 30 day challenge #sscosplaychallenge days 16-25 I’m still having to catch up lol . 16- a skill that cosplay taught me was difficult to choose because almost all the crafty things I do I learned because of cosplay including the type of crochet that I do now but I went with face paint in the end because of how much research and trial and error that one took. It’s still a tricky area for me . 17- hall shot from a con; my favorites are honestly weird ones from when we’re taking a break or being silly or have half our cosplays off for any reason . 18- makeup tests ❤️ . 19- since I enjoy doing tik toks I do plenty of cosplay outside a con, usually just in my basement lol . 20- behind the scenes of shoots especially with kids around are usually kids making me laugh or running into a shot because they wanted to give me a hug or ask if I’m ok . 21- doing something in cosplay like riding the metro? We take the metro for a couple cons and it’s always an experience (usually good) . 22- franchise you’ve cosplayed the most? Probably Pokémon with Steven universe next. We’ve been doing Pokémon for a long time and I’ve done a lot since quarantine . 23- favorite costume was a hard one too, I went with my Taako because there’s a lot of fun pieces; the fun wizard hat, the mothman piece, the long robe/vest was really fun, and I love those sunglasses . 24- This was a fun spooky edit to make for dead/ghost Larry . #crochetcosplay #yarnwig #cosplay #crochetwig #cosplaychallenge https://www.instagram.com/p/CR7Gof5rt-3/?utm_medium=tumblr

Challenge in batches pt2 so I don’t have to remember # to post every day because what’s consistency . Day 8 pair cosplay: I go to almost every con with my sister so we tend to plan our cosplays to be in the same fandom so we both have built in con buddies . Day 9 groups: I miss getting to hang out with my nerd friends that lived close to us and I really miss doing nerd things with my brother, quarantines keeping us apart. But I’m looking forward to trying to be brave and branch out in the future, hopefully do even more groups . Day 10 heroes: throwback to the costest of Deku I did once after realizing my Appletun wig looked like Izuku . Day 11 villains: another throwback to the closet cosplay I did of Catra; one day I’ll do more shera villains 💖 . Day 12 non human: plo koon, a very cool alien. I’m still proud of how his headpiece came out for my brothers cosplay . Day 13 colorful: this round was a lot of cosplays that were only worn once so the Famethyst felt like a good choice 💜 . Day 14 largest: I feel like sunstone was definitely the biggest project I’ve done so far, that head was definitely something else . Hi I’m late to this challenge but I really want to do it, the prompts all look super fun 💖 I compiled about a weeks worth to do at a time so I can’t forget or fall behind again 👌 . 🔹 I’ve already posted what I first called cosplay before so I went deeper into dressing up for movies for this one (who else went and saw this movie in theaters? 😂) 🔸 just magnemite which I wore for some tik toks recently 🔹3 was rose wig which was just the first yarn wig we made and then bismuth which we tore apart over and over before we got it right 🔸4 was our first Pokémon gijinkas; croconaw and lampent (check out those old AnimeUSA badges) 🔹5 I actually like cosplaying boys more; the clothing is usually more my style than the girls I would want to cosplay but take Sherb a closet cosplay I’d love to redo one day 🔸going along w/ the last point we ended up using more genderbent versions of magma and aqua for similar reasons; we wanted pants and liked the male versions better so crossed them (also from AnimeUSA) 🔹7 and lastly my original ballroom masquerade lileep design which was super fun to bring to life . #sscosplaychallenge #yarnwig #crochetcosplay #crochetwig #cosplay https://www.instagram.com/p/CQ9P6V_rhRr/?utm_medium=tumblr
