Hey! Can you try to describe Lucifer with a weird metaphor? Like a fruit or something
I... Hm... My favorite is honestly describing him with light, the brightest star in the sky, but let me see what else I can come up with...
...Lucifer is like a storm, or better yet, a hurricane, like the ones humans experience. From a far away distance, he is mesmerizing and dangerous and beautiful. In the midst of a war, you watch him wreak destruction and havoc, while you stand safe to watch, and there is something so very exquisite in it, even with the death and the blood and the screaming around you. He is relentless, a force of nature that can not be stopped. Get too close, and you are at risk of destruction as well...
But then you get through. You press onward through the howling winds, the danger, the stinging water, and the force that threatens to take your feet out from under you, whisk you away and tear you into nothing... and then you make it to the center, the eye of the storm, where all is quiet and calm, nothing but your own breath. You can see the sun for what seems like the first time in years and itโs... so beautiful, that light parting through the clouds, cocooned in the middle of it all. It seems as if there is nowhere safer than in the midst of that embrace, that storm.
Despite the hardships, despite the pain and the blood and the tears, the aching in your ears, your ripped, waterlogged clothes, the bruises and exhaustion so deep, you arenโt sure you remember how to stand--and youโre falling forward, but youโre safe here. There is calm and peace, and so long as you are there, nothing can harm you ever again.
Sometimes the edges come too close. Sometimes the howling walls of wind creep in on you, threaten to drag you in and throw you out, batter you until youโre left aching and empty on the other side, but itโs worth it. Itโs worth it to trudge back in, fighting tooth and claw for that peace again, that soft gentleness that you know is waiting for you.
Lucifer is a hurricane, afraid to let anyone too close, but once he lets you in... nothing could ever compare.
