SR153: two releases published on the same day, under the same number. Two releases so far apart, so foreign and discrete that this shared proximity seems to make them shy away even more from this world of light darkness and cluster, retreating in the cold depths of digital anonymity and recollections of futuristic utopias somewhere forgotten in the vast drawers of underwater servers of dimensions denied. Holograms of dreams past, of hopes and ambitions, of great minds who deluded themselves by believing that a shared connectivity among imperfect beings would mean the actualization man’s destiny to become one. It didn’t. It meant more density, more clutter and noise, mediocrity and false hopes, defeat and stagnation. Something yet remained, sadly undeveloped: a silent stream of data and of chances unexpressed, underlying systems and evolutive currents of motions. Like planets and sun flares speaking in the language of past events and dramatic manifestations the unknowable, the unreachable, the sound of invisible electromagnetic yearnings from times forgotten. Sounds of past loves, consumed in the empty and silent glare of white desktop 1997 chat rooms. Somewhere in Italy, somewhere else in Japan, loneliness shared and carried away by the vast monstrous undersea internet cables underlying our oceans. Structures which will remain, through times, through generations blankly passing away, after the war, the draught, the flood, the end of evolution and hunger and the end of life. There, the feelings so discretely and bashfully entrusted, shall be the ashes of futuristic pasts.
