Hello what are the steps for sim ripping with sims that have glasses and 3d lashes (I can't get the white globs to go away) Thanks!!!
Hi! The steps to do so are exactly the same as the tutorial. The only difference is that you will have two pngs and you’ll have to attach them to the correct corresponding objects.Â
I do not recommend this because blender 2.79 (The version of blender that the tutorial is using) doesn’t display transparent textures correctly. You will have some issues with glasses you cannot see through and lashes that look like a nightmare induced by some Goosebumps books. You also do not need them to pose your sims. But, if you re sure about the fact that you want them, here are the steps:
When you export your sim, you will have two pngs. The should read like SIMNAME_diffuse and SIMNAMEGLASS_diffuse. Those are our textures.Â
When you import your sim into blender, there will be two objects. SIMNAME and SIMNAMEGLASS.Â
You will continue the tutorial as normal for both objects.Â
When you get to the texture part of the tutorial, you will have to do this part separately for each object.Â
Apply the textures for each corresponding object. (SIMNAME_diffuse for the SIMNAME object, etc.)
