I don't know if this makes any sense at all, but do any of you know of any resources that are about unpacking christianity in a way that uplifts victims and allows encouragement of discovering beliefs seperate to christian (or general religious) ones? Or a general place to share unique viewpoints and opinions on life that aren't inheritly religious/don't follow the religious binary. Maybe even a blog that allows former religious critters a space to share their story and changed beliefs? Even just a tag that has a lot of stuff like this. Or a blog that's like the this-is-(insert queerphobia term here) blogs but for religious traumas or anything remotely similar. I'm open to seeing things off-tumblr as well

This s very hard and vulnerable for me to try and word, I've never actually started trying to find others like me like this or find a space where I can feel safer to seperate from my past religion. I'm trying to avoid an episode right now and I just don't know what to do

You go out to cons and gatherings and just meet other creatures, you learn and you experience new things and make new friendships. You're not clicking the profile of someone who you thought was cool and anxiously making sure you're not gonna get yelled at if you follow them, instead you're just talking. You're learning about each other regardless of the nitty gritty. Everyone in your dni exists in real life, and yes more often than not they are the kind of individual you'll find yourself sneaking away from a loud con environment with, settling down at a nearby park in your fursuits, laughing on the swings and debating if you wanna stop by the smoothie shop you spotted on your way down before you get back to the group of congoers you were hanging with before. And you'd probably exchange contact info before taking your leave the next day, because regardless of your differences you had a really fun time

Need everypony following on my main to cool it on dnis because many of them I wanna moot up but I feel like I can't because I fall under that list. But they seem relatable and respecting enough to keep in my space so there's just this big wall of thick air I can't cut and form connections through. WHICH IS SILLY BECAUSE IT'S MY SPACE AND THEY (a general "they") FOLLOWED ME FIRST BUT. STILL!!

The curses of not explaining myself and every little thought, opinion, and identity I've had and having beings in my space who have something I align with on their dni like at least once following me and me not wanting to feel like i'm lying for being closed off with these things and also not wanting to disappoint others if I DO end up mooting them up

I think everypony in the universe needs to get more cool about others being mad. Because if youtry and censor my anger or put words in my mouth about what I'm "really angry about" and what that "really means about me as an individual" then I'm gonna get MORE MAD!!

I really hate that everyone thinks being easily angered in a frequent timeline means that you're just rude and none of your opinions can be trusted or taken seriously because "the anger is probably clouding your judgement". No I'm angry because I GENUINELY am a walking (more like bedridden lol) minority and everyones mad at me for being one so I'm gonna be pretty fucking mad too. But I also don't want to be very mad, I would much rather love and I think I am more full of love and friendship than I ever will be anger. But anger isn't something to demonize regardless, it's an emotion the majority of living things feel in some way shape or form. And the ways of how & why we feel it is valid always

I have every reason to be mad but even if I didn't being mad is (for most) just a part of life. Yes there are distasteful ways to go about being mad in terms of actions towards other sentients around you, but those are actions completely seperate from the concept of anger alone so why are we still demonizing anger

Everyponys just up demonizing everything, of course the majority won't be open to more radical queer identities or the fact that those with personality disorders are not abusive because of said PD. Of course not because so many in this world demonize the concept of others (checks notes 💭) feeling the emotion of anger. oka!!!

My (lifelong) spinterest in my little pony has helped me as a plural collective with communication and togetherness so so much and the more I think about it the more sense it keeps making to me, and the more thankful I feel for it

I have to complete tasks in a specific order of rewardance or else it'll feel totally wrong and unrewarding (my Autism also plays into this)

I have a top-bottom scale of importance + rewardance in my head when it comes to tasks. For example:

taking out trash < feed pets < washing hands < get water < sit down

Which does seem admittedly, normal. At least from my perspective I see others doing this. But for me specifically I know it's different based on my thought process. Let me use this specific scenario, when I was told I need to take out the trash, I was dehydrated and physically exhausted. But I also always would rather get the hard stuff over with so I'm not thinking about it later, because if I did end up thinking about it later—it'd cause intense distress and discomfort. My physical exhaustion was the awful symptoms I get from standing up -> sitting down being just horrible today. And the time inbetween that, I was feeling it all while standing and walking around

But instead of taking breaks to rest or getting myself water, things that would accommodate my physical health, I HAD to do all the other things first. Or else it's just not right, like TERRIBLY not right. I wouldn't feel satisfied as much as I could be, if at all. You'll have to add "write tumblr post about compulsion you just realized you had" in between "washing hands < get water" because that's exactly what I'm doing right now. I'm only doing it now because I feared I would forget.. usually when I find something I fear I would forget when I'm doing a "taskline", I write that down, and that's a compulsion in of itself if anything.....
