After reading this post to my older brother he said: "What if you could delete friends from your memory... Or from existance?!

rare medium as in like a rare way of doing something. so like steak puns are a rare medium! well done! I THINK THATS WHAT IT MEANS

So the steak pun is "a rare medium well-done". The "rare, medium, well-done" refers to how you cook the steak, you know? And the pun part of it is that "rare" also means not common, "medium" as in, degree, or how something is done (also mentioned in different art styles) and "well done" like, literally done well.
