im literally speedrunning a quilt (sewing more than ive ever sewn) that vern started working on yearssss ago. if u have problems sitting up for long periods of time and cant finish a quilt u should give ur fiancé ur squares and a sewing machine and let them go at it . 👍

for a going away party we had a game night with my family! thrown by my sister, and alllll this week i got to cuddle and snuggle and hug my baby niece for the first time! for game night, we had 5(?) stations with team captains playing scrabble all night, and then everyone else playing at their stations for 10 mins before swapping. we played mario kart, a rubiks cube solving game (you play with tiles and swap them around in a tray- this is HARD for me), a game where you get whipped cream smacked on your face (more whipped cream= more points, everyone was DYING to get smacked for another point), and jenga! i also bought those weird jelly fruit from tiktok that you bite into? nobody got a bad bite but GOD the anticipation! losing team had to eat those lolz and as a "prize", we all kinda chipped in to a jar and it ended up being $22.55 (accidentally!) and winning team (had 5 members?) had to play uno for the prize. and vern ended up winning! he tried to split everything evenly but 😈 everyone told him to take the money bc that's how we do it at my house :,) it was SO fun we also had nachos and chili and hot cheetos and cheese.... it was sooooo nice ugh. a nice night...

also lol vern asked last night if he moves a lot in his sleep and his knee is currently gently pressed against my back (he did not go to sleep that way). he was going to say he didn't move in his sleep!
