The really dumb thing I see with meatless versions of meals is when they try to replace the meat, like there's no way you'll accept the food with actual real foods and just not meat, no, we gotta make up some mock meat as if it isn't super nasty. Same with any time they try to replace pasta with strings of vegetables or rice with rices vegetables. They don't work the same way. Just make a new food, for the love of all things edible quit trying to substitute and just move on. Inspired by a search for meatless tacos in which many strange and nasty veggie fillings were offered instead of one that actually made sense.

I can't function like this anymore.
