“Ssssssh dad, it’s fine, I haven’t done in awhile!”

“Wait- ‘I thought I told you this’ infers that you’ve done this before?? Are you holding out on us bud?” Kai casually mentioned from the doorway.

“Sssssssssh!”

“Oh, he has. But only as a toddler.” Lou answered, albeit a bit snide.

“Dad!”

“He loved eating mud from his mother’s garden, especially the worms. He only grew out of it because he discovered cake tasted much better.”

he wakes up, immediately wanting to do something spontaneous, perhaps its his chaotic nature speaking to him. he had spent the entire morning looking at tattoo inspirations to get, mainly wanting something like shin hyung, but with his own flare in the mix. he grabs his phone by the table, beside his laptop:

he needed some support, some rallying and maybe lily noona would shoot him down and tell him that it’s a bad idea, only to later stamp a pentagram onto her forehead whilst she’s asleep and tell her she was sleep walking and being possessed, give her a little spook. but hopefully, he wouldn’t have to resort to that. their little vacation to the haunted house was not very haunted, if anything it was quite liberating. an odd thought that negative energy would fuel his own positivity, unfathomable at best, but also somewhat amusing. he was sure shin would understand, he was rational unlike lily. and he couldn’t believe they used to be a thing, a weird thing, did she try to make shin a believer like her? 

closing the tabs on his laptop as he reaches for his phone again:

“Ooh, I remember that! I forgot you had one.”

“Yeah, because I hid them and kept losing them.”

“-Because you were scared we’d make fun of you for it.” She smugly grinned.

“Shhh.”

“You’re shushing means I’m right.”

“sSSSHH” He smushed her face with his paw to shove her back, nibbling on the chewy.

“C’mon, I always thought it was cute.”

“It’s not supposed to be cute, I only did it when I was stressed...” he grumbled.

She shrugged. “I don’t mean there was anything wrong with it, it’s one of the things that made you you. Now it’s extra cute though, like a kitten biting on a toy.”

“Whahshs, I am not cute! I’m very terrifying and dangerous.”

“Now, we still have the upper hand, but he mentioned having a new plan, so we need to keep our wits about ourselves.”

“I think you’re playing with fire.”

Kai: What other stuff have you eaten?

Cole: Deer, squirrels, berries, bugs.

Lloyd: Jeez, you’re worse than I was as a kid.
